If you’ve ever heard Ryan “The Milkman” Sutter on the mic, you know he’s always good for a laugh before getting down to business—and this past Friday was no exception.
While delivering one of his signature witty one-liners, Ryan casually dropped a huge announcement:
“About a year ago, we said we were going to Montpelier… and we were gonna run that racetrack.”
And now, it’s official.
As of Friday, June 27th, 2025 — the Sutter family is the proud new owner of Montpelier Speedway. The deal, originally struck last summer, came full circle last week as Ryan and Betsy Sutter joined forces with Harold and Lori Hunter to bring this shared vision to life.
“There was a mutual trust on both sides,” Ryan said, “and we brought it to a successful conclusion.”
Of course, no Sutter announcement is complete without an open invitation to celebrate. Ryan welcomed everyone to Saturday night’s races—and once again, the Montpelier faithful showed up in force for another packed night of thrilling action.
