Montpelier Speedway is about to become the hottest ticket in dirt racing as the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour rumbles into town this Wednesday, July 9th! With championship points hanging in the balance and the season nearing its boiling point all eyes are on Jason Feger and Terbo Tyler Erb!
Late Model Showdown: Can Terbo Catch the Highside Hustler?
The Late Model class is a battle and right now, Jason Feger is wearing the crown. The “Highside Hustler” from Bloomington, Illinois, sits atop the leaderboard with 1262 points, but Texas native Tyler Erb is closing fast with 1198 points, just 64 points back. “Uncle T” has been on a tear and Montpelier could be the turning point in his title hunt.
Will Feger hold strong on the cushion, or will Terbo slide his way into the top spot under the lights at Montpelier? You’ll have to be here to find out and trust us, you don’t want to miss this one.
Rusty Schlenk – The Veteran Threat
With over 200 career wins and multiple Summer Nationals victories to his name, Rusty Schlenk is no stranger to big moments. The Michigan-based driver is always a threat when he rolls into Montpelier — and you can bet he’s eyeing a statement win on Wednesday night.
Can Rusty play spoiler and steal the spotlight from Feger and Terbo?
Modified Madness: Trevor Neville Looks to Stay on Top
Over in the Modified division, Trevor Neville has been in the driver’s seat all tour long. The Mackinaw, Illinois racer has racked up 748 points, but Mississippi’s Chase Holland is within striking distance at 665. With a stacked field expected at Montpelier, one mistake could open the door for a major shakeup.
Todd Sherman – The Indiana Icon
A true staple in Indiana racing, Todd Sherman brings decades of experience, grit, and fan support every time he suits up. He knows how to tame Montpelier, and he’ll be ready to go toe-to-toe with the Hell Tour’s best in the Modifieds.
Dillon Nusbaum – No Stranger to Victory Lane
When it comes to Modified racing, Dillon Nusbaum is always a contender. The Warsaw, Indiana native has the speed to run up front with the best of them. He’s turned laps and won big at Montpelier before, and he’s gunning for another checkered flag this Wednesday.
Don’t be surprised if Dillon puts the home crowd on their feet.
