Montpelier Speedway is ramping up the action as we approach October, offering 3 weeks in a row of dirt track racing action! To kick things off, the fastest Super Stocks around will battle it out this Saturday 9/20 for the Supers Special. Points leaders James Headley and Tony Anderson are dead even in the Montpelier standings, with Seth St. Meyers, John Merchant, and Trevor McCullough rounding out the top 5. The narrow 34-point spread between first and fifth place makes the Super Stock class Montpelier's tightest points race going into the weekend.

Adding to the Super Stock excitement, they will be accompanied by Hornets, Modifieds and Super Late Models! Yes, you read it right – Super Late Models will be joining us for the first time since their July 9th Summer Nationals appearance.
Montpelier's own Late Model team, the Rouch Racing #1 is making a comeback this weekend as well. The Rouch #1, piloted by "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn, has been in the shop for major repairs following their June 28th wreck here at Montpelier.

Modifieds will offer up some bonus racing this Saturday, starting off with a 40-lap Terry Hull Memorial feature in addition to their scheduled 25-lap main event. Two features mean double the points implications – will Todd Sherman or Clayton Bryant run away with the lead, or will Tony Anderson, Dillon Nusbaum and Cole Sink use this opportunity to surge ahead to the top?
Excitement is at an all-time high here in Montpelier! We hope to see you all at the Supers Special this Saturday, September 20.
